1) New Preferred Contract – Mayfield Medical

Mayfield Medical Services has a new agreement with the university for biomedical repair. Mayfield’s St. Louis based technicians are trained by the original equipment manufacturers and average ten years of experience. The technicians receive annual factory training on the latest models. They are able to do warranty repair, general repair and preventive maintenance, calibration and certification.

They will work on a broad range of medical equipment used in a clinic practice including ECGs, exam lights and tables, patient scales, vital signs monitors, IV pumps, small counter top sterilizers, centrifuges, physical therapy equipment, etc. Becton Dickinson, Steris, Midmark and Welch Allyn are a few of the companies whose equipment they can maintain.

Mayfield Medical Services offers highly competitive pricing with no trip charge. There is a one hour minimum charge, but additional time is billed in 15 minute increments. So you pay only for the time Mayfield is actually working on the equipment. They are able to do most of the repair work on site. If the equipment must be repaired offsite, there may be a loaner product available. If the manufacturer offers a parts discount, Mayfield will pass that on to the university.

Scheduling regular preventive maintenance, calibration and certification will maintain your medical equipment at factory specifications for optimum clinic efficiency. For more information about Mayfield, contact Charlie Batterton at 618-225-3234 or call Jane Friesz in Purchasing Services at 314-935-5621.
