4) Donating Surplus Equipment – The Salvation Army

A new source for donating surplus equipment, furniture, or supplies has been added.

The Salvation Army is seeking donations of most household goods, furniture, and office supplies. The items they pick up for donation are processed in their central warehouse on Forest Park Avenue and distributed either to their Thrift Stores for sale or donated to those in need. The Salvation Army reports that $.87 of every dollar received from donations are given right back to those in need through their various programs. They have a fleet of trucks to pick-up your donated items.

To make a donation and schedule a pick up please contact: Rohn Beardsley, 535-0057 X574; rohnkb@hotmail.com or Jeremy Niemeyer, 535-0057 X573; jeremy_niemeyer@usc.salvationarmy.org
